LALIZAS manufactures and distributes in the global market over 10.000 products of marine equipment, life saving equipment and miscellaneous items directly related to various sea sports and activities. All products are designed and manufactured in LALIZAS Headquarters, with the strictest control and highest quality standards, before their distribution to all the commercial branches. In this way, the company can maintain competitive prices and control every production procedure.<\/p>\n

LALIZAS\u2019 distribution network is spread to 106 countries such as Hellas, Great Britain (UK), Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Turkey, Middle East (UAE), South Africa, Australia, Thailand, China, USA and more. It all started in the spring of 1982, when the young National Sailing Champion in Hellas, Mr. Stavros Lalizas noticed, that the lifejacket he was wearing during his training and races, was inadequate to achieve optimum performance. Therefore, he decided to make certain changes in the original design, which would meet the necessary preresiquites and reach the desired performance standards.<\/p>\n

Within 3 years (1985) the brand name LALIZAS became renowned and identical to \u201csafety\u201d regarding Sailing. During the year 1986 due to continuous development and rapid growth of sales, LALIZAS set its first exporting activities and established a commercial presence to Australia and afterwards to Netherlands, where participated in the International Expo for the first time.<\/p>\n

After being able to meet the increased requirements of the local and abroad markets, the company managed to reach its commercial presence to 45 countries (1996). Despite the unfortunate incident in 2000 that the factory facilities caught on fire, which resulted to an immense disaster, Lalizas continue all over again with the same corporate vision and vigor. By gaining a substantial impact and brand acknowledgment nationally and globally, the company introduced to the retail market, MARINA Stores in 2004.<\/p>\n

During the year 2007, the retail chain of maritime products MARINA Stores, expands to 6 stores in Hellas and 10 stores across the Balkans. Within 5 years later the number of stores increased, reaching 11 in Hellas and 15 in the Balkan territory. In 2012 despite the economic recession that endured in the European market and due to the company\u2019s financial sustainability and the private funds of Mr. Stavros Lalizas, LALIZAS managed to acquire 4 companies that thrived in the global marine market.<\/p>\n

These companies were Lofrans\u2019, Max Power, Nuova Rade and Ocean and from now on, LALIZAS has been transformed to one the leading group of companies in the marine manufacturing business. In addition, LALIZAS has managed within the year 2012 to acquire also Lalizas USA, Lalizas Middle East, Lalizas Croatia and Lalizas Espana which were the company\u2019s franchise commercial branches.<\/p>\n
