Senior officials from Kenya will visit Athens in the middle of July in order to present the investment and business opportunities of their country to Hellenic business persons.

Forum: “Investment & Business Opportunities in Kenya”, Athens 17th July 2013
The Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Kenya in the Hellenic Republic are organizing a forum for “Investment & Business Opportunities of Kenya”, on 17th of July 2013, at 9.00 am in Athens.
Kenya is a dynamic market of 40 million people with annual growth rate of 5,1%.
Although, some Hellenic businness persons has penetrate this market many years ago, the opportunities and the potential of this market is still unknown to many of them.
Within the forum, the Chairman of Kenya Investment Authority will inform the participants regarding the investment and business opportunities that Kenya has to offer to foreign businesses.
Senior governmental officials from Kenyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of East African Affairs, Commerce & Tourism will also be present to speak at the forum.
As far as the Hellenic side is concerned, keynote speaker will be the Deputy Minister of Development, Mr. Athanassios Skordas.
The General Secretary of International Economic Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Panagiotis Michalos, H.E. the Ambassador of Kenya in Rome and the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kenya in the Hellenic Republic will extend a welcome speech.
